(ISC)² released their Cybersecurity Workforce Study last week. They estimate the global cybersecurity workforce to be 4.7 million people, with a gap of 3.4 million. That's a huge gap. The report draws from surveying nearly 12,o00 professionals and contains a great deal of information about working conditions, perception, diversity, mental stress and more. Totaling 86 pages, it's a good resource to page-through whether you're a practitioner, manager or seeking talent in the industry.

Looking for Sales, Marketing or Product roles? We launched RevCyber to capture those positions, specifically for cybersecurity companies.

Job Pro-tip: Regardless of your position in security, it's important to remain aware of new vulnerabilities as they arise. However, not all vulnerabilities are equal. Focus on ones spreading in the news that impact ubiquitous technology or lead to remote-code execution.
