(ISC)² released their Cybersecurity Workforce Study last week. They estimate the global cybersecurity workforce to be 4.7 million people, with a gap of 3.4 million. That's a huge gap. The report draws from surveying nearly 12,o00 professionals and contains a great deal of information about working conditions, perception, diversity, mental stress and more. Totaling 86 pages, it's a good resource to page-through whether you're a practitioner, manager or seeking talent in the industry.

As a member of Fiserv’s Threat Simulations & Countermeasures team, the Cyber Threat Hunter will be part of a team that plays a critical role in the continuous monitoring of cyber attacks. The successful candidate will be responsible for hunting through large data sets to detect advanced threats that evade detection capabilities of traditional controls. Threat hunters work in conjunction with Cyber Intelligence and Threat Simulation teams to fully understand offensive options, forensic remnants, and correlation of seemingly benign events to expose complex attacks.
