As part of our standard job tracking, we report on the weekly statistics we observe for jobs, roles and the companies hiring within the cybersecurity space. For the start of 2023, we felt it was important to look back at the previous year and see the impact we had on hiring. If you are a user of NinjaJobs, thank you! πŸ§‘β€πŸ¦° 2,241 New Users. It was great to see continued growth in the platform week over week. We are close to 20,000 registered users, many of which actively view this newsletter and remain engaged on the platform.

πŸ‘€ 1,170,353 Job Views. During the second half of 2022, we made a design upgrade to the platform. This work contributed to a substantial amount of visitor growth, especially from those who choose to hunt for jobs anonymously.

🎯 1,932 Applications. Through the second half of the year, we saw applications increase. This was due to changes made to the platform and broader macroeconomic changes to hiring across our industry. We anticipate this number to increase this year.

πŸ“„ 10,024 Jobs Posted! Redesigning our platform allowed us to bring in more jobs on a more frequent basis. On average, we saw roughly 170 jobs posted each week! Despite industry hiring freezes, we still continue to see new job listings across a wide spectrum of roles.

🏒 From 1,363 Companies. More jobs means more companies posting. We were pleased to see such a diverse set of companies posting jobs including those in the technology, manufacturing, healthcare and government industries.

🧘 Hiring 3,636 Roles. Of all our listings, Security Operations, Security Program Management and  Network and System Security remained shined as the top job categories. Each week, we see all our categories offer jobs, though these three are often trading places for number one.

πŸ“Œ In 1,793 Locations. We have observed some companies begin to head back into the office, but many of the jobs posted to the platform remain in hybrid roles with some option to telecommute during the week. We anticipate this trend to remain in 2023.
